i've finally done something useful in this jc life.
with effect from today, i'm a volunteer with the kidsread programme at clementi children's library. every friday evening for about fifteen weeks. today was the first session and i tell you staying back and preparing stuff for one hour's worth of the programme is absolutely worth it. even though we only see the kids for an hour each week, somehow i felt really happy throughout that hour. the power little kids can exert on us. yes yes so im not slacking anymore. i've also signed up for ocip to bintan this november. hopefully i get in. as such, we all have to learn malay. so there's some crash course im attending every friday. hahah. so if we plan gatherings and all, no fridays please.
things to spruce up my cv aside, i've taken part in highly embarrassing situations as well.
wednesday was the acjc college bowl and i got pulled along to join. kinda malu since everyone else there was striking and sparing (and swearing) and there was gen trying to keep her balance after she released her ball. but still pretty enjoyable.
my term exams came out as predicted. DEOFB3B3. oh well at least i passed overall. lit geog econs math chinese gp.
i hope you all are still doing fine. and the only reason why bt7.blogspot.com is so stagnant is cause the rest of you six unlike me dont come online as often as i do.
